Tasting note:
The 2002 Wolf Blass Black Label is deep, vibrant purple-red in color. The nose shows intense, lifted aromas of blackcurrant supported by complex layers of coffee, dark chocolate and subtle mint notes. Rich, spicy fruit is evident on the palate, balanced with smoky oak. The wine shows exceptional balance, at once opulent and full, yet fine and elegant.
Pairs well with:
Serve with aged Stilton or Cheddar cheeses, water crackers and quince paste.
