Officially Imported Sticker will Inform Consumers that Penfolds Wine in China Only Guaranteed Authentic from ASC Fine Wines

ASC Fine Wines – “China’s leading importer of fine wine” (Decanter magazine) will launch wine label authenticity stickers for its portfolio of Australian icon wine brand Penfolds.

ASC Fine Wines is the exclusive importer and distributor of Penfolds wine in China.

As China’s largest Premium Wine Importer, ASC Fine Wines is highly conscious of ensuring that its wine brands are protected in China. Both ASC Fine Wines and Penfolds agree that it is critical, from a quality perspective, that the wine purchaser knows they are buying top quality and authentic wine, as intended by the winemaker himself. To ensure this happens each and every time a bottle is purchased in China, a new ‘OFFICIALLY IMPORTED’ sticker is going to be placed on every Penfolds bottle.

“When you import a prestige wine brand like Penfolds, you need to ensure that this special wine is handled properly at every point of the distribution chain” says Mr. Don St. Pierre, Jr., Managing Partner of ASC Fine Wines.

The sticker is a hologram-style of reflective silver label and will be officially introduced by Penfolds Chief Winemaker Peter Gago during his visit to China.

While it will take several months to ensure every bottle has the new sticker, consumers will still be able to find guaranteed authentic Penfolds wine in China when seeing the ASC Fine Wines logo on the wine bottle’s back label.
