Burgenland – lies to the east of Austria, along the border with Hungary. The autumn is long and warm, possibly the warmest wine region in Austria. With the moist given by the shallow lake – Neusiedl lake, so much noble rot affect bunches and make them looks as they have been dipped in ash. Similar to the Sauterne and Barsac from Bordeaux, the climate breeds the excellent Beerenauslese and Trockenbeerenauslese wines, which could challenge the best from the world – Sauterne.
