How to select wines?

When selecting wines for an occasion or making a wine recommendation, bear in mind to take the taste, the preference and the target prices of those who consumer the wines into consideration.

If you are choosing wines for a large group of people with different tastes, remember to avoid those extreme style wines (such as Alsace Gewurztraminer). When matching wines for an occasion, be sure the wines are of appropriate quality (in some special occasions, you may also choose from our Best of the Best selection). Those finely-crafted rare wines may be best served for a modest occasion, where they can be given the attention that they deserved.
