Bruno Baudry, Chief Executive Officer

Bruno Baudry has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer with effect from June 1, 2015.

Bruno has more than 16 years of success in the international wine industry, having a strong knowledge of most Asia Pacific markets and excellent networks in the wine business world, especially in France, Spain and Italy. He has the patience, tenacity and vision to develop a strategy and work towards the delivery of it by building teams and strategically positioning his organization with wine industry stakeholders. Bruno speaks 4 languages fluently (French, English, Japanese and Spanish).

From 1999 – 2013, Bruno was with the Castel Group of France, first serving as the President of Castel Japan K.K., then the Managing Director of Castel Asia. From 2011 – 2013, he concurrently held the position of Chief Representative of Castel Singapore. From 2013 – 2015, Bruno was an Executive Director of Codorniu S.A. and the Managing Director of Codorniu Asia, the positions he left to join ASC.

Bruno has strong confidence that he will take ASC to the next level of growth, customer service and partnership with suppliers and further enhance the appreciation for and sales of fine wines in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.

Simon Wang, Vice President-Sales

Simon Wang was appointed as Vice President–Sales in September, 2015.

Simon possesses deep and broad experience in China’s imported wine business as well as in the international hospitality industry. Prior to his appointment in ASC, Simon was the CEO of Kerry Wines in Mainland China. During his 16 years’ service in the hospitality industry, Simon held many senior roles with a variety of hotel groups including Fairmont Hotel & Resorts, Mandarin Oriental and Shangri-La.  He has established an excellent track record leading sales force in pursuing aggressive sales goals, setting strategic direction and providing good operational management. His profound experience and professionalism will be critical as we seek to take ASC’s business to the next level.

Richard Li, Vice President- Fine Wines

Richard joined the company in October 2002. He is in charge of overall financial activities of the company including accounting, finance, tax and operation strategy, Richard is also responsible for the management of open market fine wines including en primeur and auction business.In addition, Richard oversees ASC’s IT and logistics operations.

Prior to ASC, Richard served finance roles in multi-internationals including manufacturing and banking industry. He holds the Master of Business Administration and is a member of US IMA (Institute of Management Accountant), Richard speaks English, French and Spanish.

Robert Temple, Vice President, Brand and Marketing

Robert is originally from Britain. He worked in ASC for three and half years between March 2008 and September 2011. His last position with ASC was the General Manager – Hong Kong and Macau. His role at that time included the setting up of the ASC Hong Kong office in 2008 which quickly entered the top 3 distributors in the territory by value.

After that, Robert joined Sarment at the position of Managing Director. His deep and broad experiences in the wine industry and with ASC are critical as we seek to take ASC’s brand management and marketing to the next level.

Yasunori Kita, Corporate Planning Director

Yasunori Kita joined ASC as Corporate Planning Director in January 2013.

Yasunori has nearly 20 years of business experience in strategic planning.  His experience spans the liquor & beverage industry, where he was involved in corporate level strategy as well as food & beverage division strategy.  In ASC, he is responsible for overall company strategic planning and working closely with senior executives and  various divisions to strengthen the operating foundation and ensure sustainable growth of the company.

Nines Espejo, Senior HR Director

With over 20 years of HR professional experience in several multinationals, Nines spent the last 11 years working as international HR Director at Codorniu Raventós, a benchmark company in the Spanish wine industry well acclaimed internationally.

Nines provides expertise, as well as advice and assistance in people matters and will also is responsible for leading the overall human resources organization. Nines’ strong background in HR brings us further development of our human resources team as a key player to support the achievement of our strategic objectives.

Arthur Wang, General Manager – East China

Arthur has solid experiences in the wine and spirits industry. He worked for ASC as General Manager – East China between July 2009 and December 2010.  After that, he joined Links at the position of General Manager for 2 years and Jue Rui Industry at the position of Vice President for 1 year. Arthur has established an excellent track record leading the sales force in pursuing aggressive sales goals, setting strategic direction and providing good operational management.

Simon Liang, General Manager-North China

Simon Liang joined ASC in 2004.

He has a solid foundation for his development in ASC coming from two decades of experience within international hotel management, including Shangri-la, Radisson SAS, and Marco Polo.

During his years in ASC, he has accumulated great experience in many different channels and departments such as On-Trade and Off-Trade the North China Region. In 2010, Simon was promoted to take a directorship role in the Headquarters in Shanghai to found and to lead ASC’s Business Development Department followed by three years’ service as the General Manager of the South China Region. Simon was proudly appointed as the General Manager of the North China Region in 2013.

Joseph Yeong, General Manager-South China

A seasoned Sales and Marketing professional within the alcohol industry, Joseph has held several management positions in MNCs both in Singapore and China. His experience in the alcohol industry began with Heineken (formerly Asia Pacific Breweries) where he held various Sales and Marketing management positions. In 2009, Joseph moved to the China wine business, where he headed several channels for ASC in South China, and guided the teams to significant achievements. In 2012 Joseph was hired to set-up and led the Fine Wine business of SK Networks as the Managing Director for China. Joseph Yeong rejoined ASC in September 2014 as General Manager, to lead the business of the company in South China.

Jonathan Mather, General Manager – Hong Kong and Macau

Jonathan has led multiple teams to success and helped many people realize their full potential, while developing the wine and spirits industry in Asia and the USA.

After starting his journey as a classically trained chef and restaurateur with a Culinary Arts degree followed by a BA at The School of Hospitality Business, at Michigan State and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business as well as advanced WSET certifications. He has established broad experience in multiple sectors including import, distribution, hotels and restaurants.

Jonathan is truly passionate about spreading food and beverage culture, especially when served together to create a great experience.

Anthony Gan, General Manager of West China

Anthony has 25 years of experience in the wine and spirits industry. He worked for ASC for 9 years from September 2000 to September 2009. His last position in ASC was the General Manager – South China. After that Anthony had taken many senior management roles in the wine industry before he was appointed as ASC’s General Manager of West China.

With such wide scope of operation and management experience coupled with in-depth understanding of second tier markets, Anthony will definitely facilitate and speed up the development of ASC business in West China.
