CHATEAU STE. MICHELLE/COLUMBIA VALLEY
Founded in 1934, Chateau Ste. Michelle is the oldest winery in Washington State. Its location in the Columbia Valley appellation provides suberb growing conditions necessary for producing their highly acclaimed wines. In 2004 Chateau Ste. Michelle was named “American Winery of the Year” by Wine Enthusiast and 2006 marked the twelfth year that the winery received “Winery of the Year” honors by Wine & Spirits. Each vintage, in every language, the international media continues to pile praise on this winery.
“Leading the way has been… Chateau Ste. Michelle. They have taken what was considered a rather bland Merlot grape and turned it into a superstar!” - Paul Gregott, Wine Enthusiast
“Chateau Ste. Michelle continues to amaze us with its dedication to quality and its reasonable prices.” - Wine Spectator
